A beautiful and iconic piece of postmodern design. This exclusive designer cheese dome/serving dish was designed in the 1990s by the world-renowned Czech architect and designer Bořek Šípek, commissioned by DSM.
The object is in absolute mint condition and is originally hand-signed by the designer on the side of the porcelain rim.
Unique and multifunctional design: The design consists of a high-quality, white porcelain base with four semi-circular cutouts at the corners. These are perfect for serving matching appetizers, tapas, or sauces. The heavy, transparent dome is made of pressed crystal glass and is finished with a striking pink/orange glass handle in the shape of a flower.
Special detail: when you turn the glass dome upside down, it rests stably on the glass flower, and the dome can be used independently as an extra serving dish. Specifications:
