This mid-century modern desk, designed in the style of Cees Braakman, is a great example in of the functional elegance of 1960s Dutch design. The piece features a distinctive floating top design. Constructed with a warm wood veneer, likely teak or rosewood, the desk is supported by a black painted frame and square metal legs. It offers practical storage with a bank of three drawers on the left side (41cm wide, 60cm deep), each fitted with sleek, rectangular metal pulls. The right side features an open shelving unit (20cm deep), providing additional space for books or decorative items. This desk is in good condition, retaining its original character and patina. There is some damage to the drawers (see pictures) and some scratches on the left hand side of the drawer bank. Height: 75,5cm Total width: 121cm Width floating desk top: 103cm
