Under the name Maisa, Derk Jan de Vries designed furniture with the distinctive style icon on the corners of the cabinet in the 60-70s in Italy, where he was now living. See detail in one of the photos. In the Netherlands it was sold at the time at a limited selection of sales addresses.
The cabinet was purchased in 1976 and has been in our possession for 47 years. We liked the entire design oeuvre of Derk Jan de Vries so much that several pieces of furniture were purchased.
