The DePadova Louisiana, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1993, is an iconic Italian armchair inspired by a horse saddle. The design is characterized by a supple leather exterior with visible stitching and a fabric interior with a seat cushion, often combined with a matching footstool. Both the armchair and the footstool feature four castors. The armchair has removable upholstery. The matching seat cushion and the lumbar support section of the armchair are made of leather and filled with goose down.
The exterior upholstery of the armchair, cushion, and footstool is made of full-grain, vegetable-tanned, and aniline-dyed cowhide.
