Product description
The Ultima 15 ashtray, designed by Holger Bäckström and Bo Ljungberg, is an iconic piece of Scandinavian design. This specific model, produced in Denmark for Diverse Ting Malmö Sweden, stands out for its geometric precision and architectural appearance. Crafted from solid aluminium, the object displays a robust construction with a distinctive grid pattern. The silver-coloured finish emphasizes the industrial and minimalist aesthetic of the design. The two-part system, consisting of a base and a removable grid, is both functional and visually intriguing. The object is in a condition befitting its age and previous use, retaining its original character and patina. The construction is fully intact, and the original markings on the underside are clearly legible. Today, this ashtray often functions as a sculptural object or collector's item within a modern or industrial interior. The geometric design makes it a striking addition to a coffee table or desk.
