About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This collection features a set of Delft polychrome ceramics, including a covered vase, two matching side vases, and a leaf-shaped dish. The pieces are characterised by their traditional Dutch craftsmanship and intricate floral motifs, representing a classic example of regional ceramic art. Crafted from ceramic, the set displays a vibrant multi-colour palette on a white background, typical of the polychrome style. The central covered vase features a distinctive finial, while the side vases share a flared, hexagonal form. The accompanying dish is shaped like a leaf with a small handle. The bases bear the maker's marks, indicating their origin from De Porceleyne Fles in Delft. The set is in good condition, showing signs of age and use that are consistent with its vintage nature. The painted decorations remain vivid, and the structural integrity of the pieces is preserved, maintaining their historical character. These ceramic pieces are well-suited for display in a classic or eclectic interior. They can be arranged together as a traditional garniture set on a mantelpiece or sideboard, adding a touch of Dutch heritage to the space.
