Product description
Beautiful original set of two Danish armchairs, designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for Komfort. A particularly elegant Scandinavian design from the 1960s, executed with beautifully shaped wooden frames. The long, slightly curved armrests, slender legs and open back with vertical slats give the armchairs a refined and airy look. The wooden frames have been carefully re-oiled and are in very good condition. This gives the wood a beautiful warm and deep color again and brings out the beautiful wood grain. Both armchairs still have their original beige mottled upholstery. The fabric is still in good vintage condition given its age. The cushions have sagged a bit over the years and no longer have their original volume. We have deliberately chosen to retain the original upholstery. The armchairs are marked and are original Komfort pieces. A beautiful combination of Danish craftsmanship, comfortable proportions and the typical understated design of Arne Wahl Iversen.
