Beautiful, original Danish design lounge chair by Aksel Dahl for K.P. Møbler from the 1970s for sale. An iconic piece of Danish craftsmanship for the true enthusiast of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. This brutalist safari armchair combines a tough, minimalist design with surprisingly high seating comfort. Details & Features: Designer & Manufacturer: Designed by Aksel Dahl and produced by the renowned Danish furniture factory K.P. Møbler (Kieler & Petersen). Origin: Equipped with the original store and origin label on the wooden frame from the well-known luxury Danish design store Niels Christensen Bolignyt (Hjørring, Denmark). This guarantees 100% authentic Danish history. Construction: Robust, solid wooden frame (high-quality oak) with a sturdy, tensioned canvas base. The armrests and sides are beautifully and functionally finished with the characteristic wooden pins. Cushions: The thick, tufted cushions (equipped with all original buttons) have their iconic, striped vintage pattern and are in very neat condition. Professionally cleaned, some small stains cannot be removed. Condition of the furniture: The chair is structurally in excellent, sturdy condition. Both the woodwork, the canvas and the upholstery show only mild, normal signs of use consistent with age.
