Product description
The Skandiform armchairs represent a refined approach to late twentieth-century Scandinavian seating. Characterised by their architectural wire frames and tailored upholstery, this set of three chairs exemplifies the intersection of minimalist geometry and ergonomic comfort.
Constructed with a continuous chrome-plated steel frame, the sled base seamlessly transitions into angular armrests, creating a striking visual lightness. The seats and high backrests are fully upholstered in a durable black textile, offering a stark, elegant contrast to the polished metal. Manufactured by the renowned Swedish furniture maker Skandiform, the chairs retain their original maker's mark and serial labelling on the underside, confirming their authentic provenance.
The set remains in highly commendable condition, reflecting careful preservation over time. The chrome frames retain their original lustre, while the black upholstery is structurally sound and aesthetically intact. The original protective floor glides are present, ensuring the pieces remain fully functional for contemporary use.
With their sleek profile and versatile colourway, these chairs are ideally suited for a modern home office, a sophisticated waiting area, or a minimalist living space. They pair exceptionally well with glass or marble tables, anchoring a room with their distinct Scandinavian modern aesthetic.
