This is 'The Six Guardians', an original painting by the artist Kathleen Storme, created in 2021. The work is executed in oil paint on canvas and is characterized by an expressive, pasty impasto technique applied with a palette knife, resulting in a tangible texture and depth. The painting measures 50 x 40 cm and is stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. The composition shows a landscape with an architectural element in the background, flanked by six trees that act as symbolic guardians. The color palette consists of a mix of gray tones, various greens, and earthy colors, contrasted by a luminous path in the foreground. This work is a unique piece, signed by the artist on the back of the stretcher frame. The overall condition of the artwork is excellent, as confirmed by the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity. The oil paint is fully cured, and the colors are vibrant. The painting comes with this certificate, guaranteeing the authenticity and provenance of the work. With its symbolic charge and contemporary aesthetic, this painting is a meaningful addition to an interior. Its size makes it suitable for placement in a living room, study, or hallway, where it can serve as a point of reflection and conversation.
