Iconic DS88 modular sofa in cognac patchwork leather from the Swiss brand De Sede, composed of 27 elements:
- 5 seat modules
- 5 seat cushions
- 1 corner back cushion
- 4 straight back cushions
- 6 metal back cushion support plates, all upholstered in leather, one of which includes a magazine pocket
- 2 storage bins
- 1 set of 2 travertine shelves for the storage bins
- 1 set of 2 custom-made ceramic shelves by Belgian artist Aliette Vliers
Seat module dimensions: 90cm x 90cm / seat height 36cm
Storage bin dimensions: 90cm x 45cm x 36cm
This modular sofa allows for various configurations; the photos illustrate two that I have personally used: as a corner sofa and as a straight sofa. with chaise longue. The storage bins can be used as side tables or coffee tables.
The entire sofa is in very good overall condition, with only a few very small stains and superficial scratches, mainly on the seat cushions (impossible to show in photos), as well as a V-shaped tear approximately 5 cm wide on one of the bases (see last photo). This tear is easily concealed thanks to the sofa's modular design.
The entire DS88 sofa is in very good overall condition with a beautiful patina, the only flaw being a V-shaped tear on one of the leather pieces of one of the seat modules (see last photo - dimensions 6cm x 3 cm), in practice invisible thanks to the modular layout of the sofa.
