Product description
Original vintage footstool from the DS-50 series by de Sede, executed in warm cognac brown leather. The reduced, sculptural construction with two fully leather-covered side panels and the softly padded seat cushion is typical of the high-quality Swiss upholstered furniture design of this era.
The footstool has a clear, almost architectural form: two wide side elements support the slightly curved seat construction, topped by a generously padded leather cushion. The low black base elements make the furniture appear to almost float and create a beautiful contrast to the warm cognac tone.
The leather shows an attractive, naturally developed vintage patina with creasing, slight color differences, and fine signs of wear. It is precisely this aging that gives the footstool its authentic character and harmonizes perfectly with classic de Sede leather sofas and armchairs.
The footstool is suitable both as a footrest and as an additional seating option, and its understated shape allows for versatile combinations.
Condition:
Good used vintage condition with visible age-appropriate patina.
The leather shows creases, light scratches, and signs of wear. More pronounced abrasion and lightening marks are present on the lower outer edges of the side panels. In some places, the surface has become slightly lighter due to long-term use.
Dimensions: L65 x W46 x H39 cm
