About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic DS-31 three-seater sofa, an iconic design by the Swiss manufacturer De Sede. This model is known for its exceptional comfort and the use of high-quality materials, making it a sought-after piece of design history.
The sofa is made of thick, supple neck leather in a warm, cognac-colored brown hue, a hallmark of De Sede's craftsmanship. The construction rests on a minimalist metal base, creating a floating effect. The visible, artisanal stitching along the edges of the cushions is a signature detail of the DS-31 series and emphasizes the quality and attention to detail in the design.
Over the years, the leather has developed a rich and vibrant patina, giving the sofa a unique and lived-in character. The overall condition is consistent with its age and use, with the construction remaining solid and the cushions comfortable. The sofa retains its original shape and appearance.
With its timeless aesthetic, this De Sede sofa seamlessly fits into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to eclectic or industrial. It is a statement piece that adds both comfort and refined style to a living space. The sofa has damage on the back left. (see photo)
