Product description
This Brutalist high board was produced by the Belgian manufacturer De Coene Frères in the 1970s. The piece stands out with its assertive geometric silhouette and the striking contrast between warm wood and dark decorative elements, characteristic of the design of this period.
The structure is made of rich-grained wood veneer, featuring a deep brown hue. The cabinet has four hinged doors that open to interior shelves, offering ample storage space. The composition is completed by a series of drawers on the right side and a central panel adorned with black ceramic tiles, each featuring a concentric circle pattern. The round black lacquered metal handles add a sculptural touch to the ensemble.
Preserved in very good original condition, this high board shows an authentic patina that testifies to its history. The wood finish and decorative elements have been well preserved, reflecting constant care over the decades. The construction remains solid and fully functional.
With its bold lines and architectural presence, this storage unit will fit perfectly as a centerpiece in a dining room or living room. It harmonizes equally well with a Mid-Century Modern interior style as with a more eclectic or contemporary decor, where its strong personality can be highlighted.
