A fine triptych by renowned Spanish artist Darío Villalba. In addition to being a painter and photographer, he also represented Spain at the Winter Olympics as a figure skater. He is one of the most influential Spanish artists of the last century. Of this work, the right seriograph is hand-signed and dated (1974), the other two are marked p/a (proof d'artiste). There are discolorations and stains here and there, which is not strange for a work on paper more than 50 years old. Works by Villalba can be found in Boijmans van Beuningen and the Metropolitan Museum of art, among others. This work is an example of the integration of photography into art that made him famous. All three frames have a day size of 50x70 cm.
