Product description
ENG A beautiful vintage Danish pendant lamp, model 4756 by Lyskær Belysning, dating from the 1970s. The lamp features a distinctive layered shade construction, reminiscent of the iconic multi-shade designs of Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen. What makes this particular Lyskær model stand out is the straight cylindrical top section directly above the upper shade, combined with the characteristic proportions of the three lower metal shades. The layered construction creates a beautiful interplay of light and shadow. Light is directed downwards while also gently escaping between the individual shades, creating a warm and atmospheric glow around the lamp. A great piece for lovers of Danish mid-century design, Scandinavian interiors and vintage lighting. Its sculptural silhouette makes it a striking statement piece above a dining table, kitchen island or in a living room.
