Product description
This Danish Modern two-seater wingback wall sofa exemplifies the tailored elegance of 1960s Scandinavian design. The piece is defined by its striking silhouette and dynamic upholstery, offering a compelling interpretation of the classic wingback form.
Constructed with a sturdy wooden frame, the sofa rests on tapered wooden legs that ground the piece with architectural stability. It is fully upholstered in an original vibrant textile featuring a distinctive chevron pattern in tones of orange, beige, and brown. The high back and gently flared armrests provide both visual presence and structural support, characteristic of mid-century European craftsmanship.
The sofa remains in good vintage condition, retaining its structural integrity and original character. The upholstery presents well, while the wooden elements display a natural patina acquired over decades of use. This authentic aging process contributes to the historical charm of the piece.
This distinctive seating element serves as a strong focal point in both residential and commercial interiors. It pairs exceptionally well with other mid-century modern furnishings or acts as a vibrant statement piece within a contemporary living space.
The back is upholstered in a different fabric which was originally meant for the sofa to stand against the wall.
