About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a fine example of a Danish Mid-Century tallboy, expertly crafted from teak. Its design embodies the core principles of the era, showcasing clean lines, organic forms, and a focus on high-quality, natural materials.
Constructed from teak, this chest of drawers features a warm, rich grain that is characteristic of high-quality Scandinavian furniture. The piece stands on elegant, tapered legs and offers substantial storage with six drawers, each fitted with sculpted, integrated pulls. The top drawer includes a lock, a detail that adds to its classic functionality. The interiors of the drawers are lined with a subtle patterned paper, a thoughtful finishing touch.
The overall condition of this piece is very good, reflecting careful ownership over the years. The teak wood has developed a consistent and pleasing patina, highlighting the quality of the material and the craftsmanship. It remains structurally sound and fully functional, ready for continued use.
With its vertical orientation and compact footprint, this tallboy is an ideal storage solution for a bedroom, hallway, or living area where space is at a premium. It integrates seamlessly into interiors with a Scandinavian, Mid-Century Modern, or Organic Modern aesthetic.
The item will be shipped directly from Denmark. Delivery time approx. 3-4 weeks
