Product description
This Danish design furniture piece is a refined example of mid-20th century craftsmanship, executed in a rich rosewood veneer. The design combines the functionality of a liquor cabinet and a sideboard, making it a versatile and elegant object.
The cabinet is crafted with a striking, dynamic wood grain characteristic of rosewood. The asymmetrical layout consists of a lockable door with adjustable shelves behind it, four drawers, and a drop-down door that opens to a bar compartment. The interior is finished in contrasting light wood, ensuring a bright and functional inside. The entire piece rests on period-typical tapered legs.
The furniture is in good vintage condition, with a patina consistent with its age and use. The original finish is largely preserved, allowing the natural grain of the wood to show through beautifully. The construction is solid, and all parts are functional. The inside of the bar door has some craquelure.
With its compact form and multifunctional storage options, this cabinet is a stylish addition to a dining room or living room. It fits seamlessly into an interior with a fondness for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian design, or an eclectic style.
