This distinctive pendant lamp was designed by the Danish lighting manufacturer Vitrika, which was primarily active in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The shade consists of a brushed brass ring with two white plastic diffusers. When the lamp is switched on, these diffusers illuminate beautifully and diffuse a soft, atmospheric light.
Transparent, faceted elements reminiscent of small crystals or glass stones are placed around the brass ring. These subtly catch the light and create sparkling accents when used, without overpowering the overall effect.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition. There are minor signs of wear in the form of small scratches, as shown in the photos, consistent with the age of the lamp.
