ProfessionalProduct description
This is a unique 3D mixed-media painting that combines elements of both classical fresco techniques and raw, tactile materials, creating a strikingly textured surface. The focal point is a woman with dark, tousled hair, seated in a contemplative pose. Her form is draped in soft, voluminous fabric that has been rendered in a sculptural, almost lifelike fashion, adding a three-dimensional quality to the piece. The texture of the fabric contrasts beautifully with the rough, cracked, and layered backdrop that evokes a sense of decay and time-worn surfaces, similar to the patina of old frescoes. On the right side of the artwork, raw elements such as twisted cords or fibers are embedded into the surface, giving the painting an abstract and avant-garde touch. These materials seem to symbolize the unraveling of memories or thoughts, tangled and fading into the background, as if swept away by time. At the bottom of the painting lies an open book, partially raised from the surface, with handwritten text in a scrawled, almost illegible script. This detail gives a narrative layer to the artwork, hinting at forgotten words, stories left untold, or memories lost "with the wind." The book, paired with the figure’s melancholic gaze, suggests themes of nostalgia, loss, and the fleeting nature of memory. Overall, the painting reflects a postmodern sensibility, merging classical artistic elements with raw, contemporary materials, creating a dialogue between past and present, structure and chaos. The work evokes a haunting beauty, as though the remnants of memories and time have been preserved within its layered textures. Artist, produced in 2021, size 59,5x87cm, Cardboard
