Work by Bolivian artist Damar Bitre (El Alto, La Paz, 2000). Bitre studied at the ANBA and the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA). Despite her young age, she has already received several awards, including the René Noriega Martínez Scholarship (2022) from the Thayas Foundation (USA) and prizes at the Pedro Domingo Murillo Art Contest (2024) and the Eduardo Abaroa Competition. In her work, Bitre explores the relationship between emotion, thought, and nature. Characteristic is her attention to texture and material, in which forms and colors from nature play an important role.
