Product description
RAAK D-2003 FLOOR LAMP BY JAN JASPERS | THE NETHERLANDS, 1950s
The D-2003 floor lamp by Jan Jaspers for Raak Amsterdam is a striking example of 1950s Dutch design. With its sleek lines and elegant craftsmanship, this rare piece embodies the timeless modernism Raak was celebrated for. The refined metal frame supports an adjustable shade with a distinctive, sculptural form—offering both functional and atmospheric lighting.
Its minimalist aesthetic makes it a versatile addition to any mid-century or contemporary interior. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition, showing only minor signs of age. There are slight imperfections on the front of the shade and faint smears on the inside, but these are only visible when viewed directly from underneath.
A rare and iconic piece from the early post-war design era, the D-2003 is more than just a source of light—it’s a statement in form and innovation.
