This is an Art Deco footed bowl by the Czechoslovakian glassmaker Moser, dating to the 1930s. The piece is defined by its rich cobalt blue glass, which provides a dramatic ground for an ornate, gilded brass frieze.
The bowl is crafted from deep blue glass and is distinguished by a wide, embossed brass band that encircles its circumference. This decorative frieze features a repeating Neoclassical motif of swans and grapevines, showcasing fine detail. The vessel rests on a classic pedestal foot, which is further accented with a hand-painted gold line at its base, a signature of quality from the period.
Presented in a condition that is excellent for its age, the bowl retains the clarity and depth of its original glass colour. The metalwork is well-preserved, with the intricate pattern remaining crisp and legible, contributing to the piece's overall character of refined vintage elegance.
This object serves as a sophisticated decorative accent, suitable for display on a console table, mantelpiece, or within a display cabinet. Its timeless design complements interiors ranging from classic to Art Deco and eclectic.
