Product description
Original 1960s Czechoslovak double pendant light with two unusual white opaline glass shades decorated with irregular black glass spots. The shades hang from a long wooden crossbar with a lightweight metal suspension and wooden ceiling canopy. The combination of graphic black-and-white glass, warm wood and slender metalwork gives the lamp a distinctive mid-century character. The design is particularly interesting for the contrast between its precise geometric structure and the soft, organic form of the glass shades. It is playful and decorative while remaining visually light. A beautiful statement light for above a dining table, kitchen island or within a living space. The designer and manufacturer are unknown. The light has been carefully cleaned, checked and prepared for use.
