Product description
Elegant Small Table Lamp by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden, 1960s
Scandinavian mid-century design in cylindrical form
Designed by the renowned Swedish brothers Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus in the 1960s, this rare table lamp is a compact yet powerful example of their minimalist approach. Unlike their more familiar floor lamps, this piece is modest in size but striking in presence.
The lamp features a cylindrical acrylic shade that diffuses a warm, soft light when illuminated — typical of the Kristianssons’ sensitive use of material and form. It rests on a beautifully crafted wooden base, which gives it both stability and a natural, tactile contrast to the modern shade.
The lamp is in very good original condition, with only minor signs of age — a well-preserved example of mid-century Swedish craftsmanship.
A charming piece that brings elegance, warmth, and design history to any interior — perfect for a desk, nightstand, or shelf.
