This is a charming CWS Biscuits tin by Crumpsall & Cardiff, originating from England and dating from the 1920s–1930s. The tin stands out due to its detailed relief decoration and nostalgic appearance, making it a special collector's item for lovers of historical packaging. The tin is crafted from metal and features an atmospheric, relief-printed scene of two figures in a street scene, surrounded by a decorative floral border. The colors are subtle with accents in green, pink, and silver tones, contributing to the authentic vintage look. The bottom bears the inscription 'C.W.S. Biscuits Crumpsall & Cardiff'. The condition reflects its age and use, with an authentic patina that enhances the object's character. The tin is structurally intact and the hinged lid functions properly. It is a rarer elongated octagonal hinged tin. The lid is deep-pressed (embossed), then lithographically printed and hand-colored. In the center of an oval medallion, two girls in pink jackets in a Victorian street – entirely in the style of Kate Greenaway, very popular for tins at the time. Surrounding it, a border of lilies of the valley and faux pearls / green 'jewels' -
