Private sellerProduct description
This is a custom-made version of the iconic IKEA Karlstad swivel armchair, executed in high-quality leather. The original design, known for its comfort and Scandinavian aesthetic, has been transformed here into a unique and refined piece of furniture that combines IKEA's accessibility with the luxury of leather upholstery. The armchair is fully upholstered in supple leather in a neutral taupe-grey color, ensuring a timeless look. The construction includes a high backrest with an integrated headrest for optimal seating comfort. It rests on a stable four-star metal swivel base, allowing the chair to rotate 360 degrees. The chair can also tilt. The design is a clear nod to the classic 'egg chairs' from the mid-20th century. The overall condition of the chair is very good, with the leather making a well-maintained impression and having retained its shape and structure well. The custom upholstery has been expertly applied, which is visible in the neat stitching and fit. This piece offers the comfort of a well-known model with the durability and the character of real leather. Thanks to its elegant silhouette and neutral color scheme, this swivel armchair effortlessly fits into various interior styles, from modern and minimalist to Scandinavian or eclectic. It is an ideal reading chair for the living room or a comfortable accent chair for a bedroom or home office.
