Product description
An Italian wall mirror from the 1960s, characterised by a highly elongated oval shape and slender proportions that emphasise its vertical development. The curved wooden frame continuously follows the profile of the mirror, creating a soft and essential line typical of the formal experimentation of the period. The structure is made of wood with a warm brown tone, shaped into a continuous profile with fully rounded ends. The mirrored glass is set within the frame and held in place by four small oval elements in darker wood, symmetrically positioned along the sides and intentionally left visible. A functional detail that becomes an integral part of the design, introducing a refined contrast of tones and volumes. Its extremely elongated form and simple construction give the mirror a light, graphic presence, allowing it to define a wall without visually weighing it down. An example of 1960s Italian design in which the quality of the wood and attention to detail are combined with an understated and timeless aesthetic.
