Product description
This is an authentic desk accessory designed by the Italian artist and designer Bruno Munari for Danese Milano. The object, known as the 'Cubo' paperclip holder, was originally designed in 1957 and is an icon of minimalist and functional Italian design.
The holder is made of plastic and consists of a black cubic exterior with a contrasting gray, angled interior. This clever design makes it easy to grab paperclips or other small desk items. The bottom is marked with 'Danese Milano', 'Made in Italy' and the designer's name, B. Munari, confirming its authenticity. This specific piece dates from the 1970s.
The item is in good vintage condition, with a character that matches its age and use. Its structural integrity is fully intact, and the object retains its original shape and finish. It is an example of how everyday objects can be elevated to small works of art through thoughtful design.
This paperclip holder is a stylish and functional addition to any workspace, whether it's a modern home office or a desk in a creative studio. It seamlessly fits into interiors with a preference for Mid-Century Modern, Italian design, or minimalist aesthetics.
