About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a modular Shelving unit by Cubitec, designed by Doron Lachisch. The system is known for its versatility and industrial aesthetic, making it a classic in postmodern design.
The furniture is made of translucent orange polypropylene, a lightweight and durable plastic. The construction consists of individual panels connected to each other, offering countless configuration possibilities. The vibrant orange color and semi-transparent finish give the object a striking and playful appearance, characteristic of late 20th-century design.
The overall condition of this vintage item is very good, in line with its age and careful use. The structure is solid, and the original finish and color have been well preserved, retaining its authentic character.
Due to its modular nature, this Shelving unit can function as a bookcase, display unit, or even a subtle room divider. It fits perfectly into a modern, eclectic, or minimalist interior, where it adds a powerful visual accent.
