Product description
Corneille (1922-2010) was a Dutch painter and member of the CoBrA. Although largely self-taught, Corneille took art courses at Amsterdam's Rijksacademie between 1940 and 1942. At first he was heavily influenced by Picasso, but in 1948 he broke away from this and joined the CoBrA movement. He himself claimed that painting was not a hobby or work, but rather a vocation. This beautiful lithograph is in excellent condition and was made in 1990. The work has edition number 58/200 and is hand-signed by the artist. Create your own wall mosaic (see last photo) and mix vintage artwork with posters, photographs and contemporary artists. This way you playfully put together your own inspiration wall in your living room or office. In our extensive collection there are not only contemporary artists but also many historical prints with which you can create a cool wall mosaic in no time. Check out our other items from Galerie Rotor at Whoppah or call us for advice. Would you like to have the work framed? We at Galerie Rotor in Gorinchem can do all kinds of framing for you. You can pick up the work at the gallery or have it sent by registered mail.
