About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This modular seating element is part of the iconic "Trio" sofa system, designed in 1972 by Team Form for the German manufacturer Cor. The design is a 1970s classic, characterized by its low-slung, casual silhouette and infinite versatility.
The element is upholstered in a velvet-like fabric in a rich brown tone, giving it a warm and inviting texture. Characteristic of the "Trio" series are the double-stitched outer seams, which emphasize the module's geometric shape and give it a robust, handcrafted quality. The construction without fixed armrests or backrests allows for free arrangement in the room.
The armchair module is in good condition, consistent with its age and use. The original upholstery is preserved and shows an authentic patina that underlines the vintage character of the piece. The structure is solid, and the padding continues to offer comfortable seating.
As a single corner element, this module can serve as a compact armchair or be combined with other "Trio" components to create an individual seating landscape. It seamlessly integrates into Mid-Century Modern or eclectically furnished living spaces and offers flexible seating.
