Sawa Keramik was founded in 1904 in Ransbach-Baumbach by Franz Schwaderlapp. The company produced very high-quality earthenware. In 1951, production of handcrafted and artistically made ceramics commenced under the name 'SAWA-Keramik'. Heinrich-Maria Müller was employed as the principal designer from 1951 to 1965. He personally designed and decorated numerous vases. Signature: Sawa often features patterns that are more deeply carved (sgraffito) than other brands. The patterns are also more complex in nature. The most pleasing aspect is that Sawa often applied stickers to their products, and these stickers were/are very difficult to remove. Sometimes only part of the label remains (especially the ESR section), and that is sufficient to be recognizable as a genuine Sawa. This vase is special and unique in terms of size and beautiful execution, designed by Heinrich-Maria Müller. Height 35 cm, diameter 25 cm, base diameter 15 cm with SAWA sticker. 3.6 kg. Perfect condition.
