Product description
This set of four dining chairs by Schuitema is a refined example of the Jugendstil aesthetic. The design is characterized by elegant, curved lines and the distinctive cutout in the backrest, which gives the chairs a timeless and architectural appearance. The chairs are made of solid wood with a warm, brown finish that accentuates the natural wood grain. The seats are upholstered with a multicolored, mottled fabric in earthy tones, which forms a subtle contrast with the wooden frame. The construction shows craftsmanship with visible wood joints and decorative grooves in the front legs. The seats are removable, which simplifies maintenance or eventual re-upholstery. The set is in good condition, commensurate with age and use. The woodwork has developed an authentic patina that contributes to the character of the chairs. The construction is sturdy and the upholstery is intact. These Schuitema chairs would look excellent in a classic or eclectic interior. They form a stylish addition around a wooden dining table and bring a touch of historical elegance to the dining room.
