Product description
A striking geometric sculpture by Dutch artist Henk van Putten, titled Yo-ga-ga. Executed in a limited edition of 12 pieces, this work embodies the artist’s fascination with balance, tension, colour and spatial construction.
Two elegantly curved blue elements rise from a compact base and intersect in a dynamic upward movement, held in equilibrium by precisely tensioned steel wires and subtle geometric accents in contrasting turquoise. The composition appears both architectural and weightless, transforming simple materials into a visually complex structure that changes continuously when viewed from different angles.
The work reflects influences from Constructivism and Concrete Art, where form, proportion and spatial relationships become the primary subject. Van Putten combines strict geometry with a sense of movement, creating a sculpture that feels simultaneously disciplined and playful.
Its vibrant colour palette, refined craftsmanship and carefully engineered tension system give the piece a distinctive presence, placing it at the intersection of sculpture, design and architectural experimentation.
