About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This console embodies the aesthetic of 1970s Italian design, with a chrome-plated metal structure and smoked glass shelves. Its architectural and asymmetrical silhouette is characteristic of the Space Age style, combining functionality with a strong visual presence.
The piece is built around a geometric metal frame with a brushed or chrome finish, supporting multiple levels of grey tinted glass shelves. This combination of materials creates an elegant contrast between the reflective coolness of the metal and the dark transparency of the glass. The open design offers multiple surfaces for displaying objects or storage, while maintaining a sense of lightness.
In excellent overall condition for its age, this console has retained its original finishes and materials. The structure is solid and stable, and the glass is well preserved, testifying to careful maintenance over the decades. The ensemble presents a consistent patina that adds to its authentic vintage character.
Thanks to its versatility, this console will find its place in an entryway, living room, or office. It can serve as an accent piece, a low bookcase, or a media stand, integrating perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or contemporary interiors.
