An authentic large, heavy studio stoneware charger crafted by the distinguished Danish master ceramicist Conny Walther, who operated her acclaimed independent workshop in Birkerød from 1954 until 1984. This museum-grade piece represents elite Danish Mid-Century Modern art pottery, deeply inspired by traditional culture and organic textures. Her internationally exhibited works are represented in collections like the National Museum of Modern Art in Kyoto. Handcrafted from thick stoneware with an expressive, painterly glaze combining earthy browns, ochre, deep navy, and a striking iridescent turquoise focal point. The reverse displays her incised "CW" monogram studio mark.
