Private sellerProduct description
Elegant antique chest of drawers in Isabelino / Charles X style, dated to the second half of the 19th century. A stately piece of furniture with great presence, ideal for both classic environments and for contrasting in modern, high-end decorations.
• Material: Noble wood with a beautiful play of natural grain on the drawer fronts.
• Structure: It has 4 drawers in total (3 large lower drawers and 1 narrower upper drawer integrated into the cornice). Turned side columns and well-preserved period legs.
• Decoration: Fine filigree work and geometric marquetry on the front. The upper drawer features a central ornamental crest with classic motifs of peacocks, vases, and vegetal elements.
The furniture's structure, the wood of the sides, and the drawer slides are in good general condition.
Important restoration note: In the decoration of the upper drawer, one of the peacock figures from the metal marquetry is missing on the right side (see detailed photo). It is an ideal piece for collectors or antique lovers who wish to preserve it with its original patina or carry out a small restoration in that area.
Measurements: 112 cm x 58 cm x 110 cm.
