This artwork is a screen print titled "Les isles flottantes des Caribbean" by the Dutch artist Clemens Briels.
The screen print is hand-signed and part of a limited edition, number 55 of 175 copies.
The work is framed and displays Briels' characteristic bright colors and playful, Caribbean-inspired compositions, building upon the style of earlier Cobra artists such as Corneille and Karel Appel.
In 2002, Clemens Briels was chosen as the "Official Artist" of the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
Dimensions: 115 x 119 cm.
It is professionally framed with a museum board passe-partout (Moorman 1200 grams) and an acid-free backing (museum format 5 mm), which guarantees conservation.
The work and the frame are in top condition. Please note that the dimensions are substantial and it may not fit in every car for transport. Pickup is preferred.
