This is the KW1 Coffee Table, designed by Hank Kwint for the Dutch brand Metaform. The design is characterized by a minimalist and architectural approach, where the construction forms an essential part of the aesthetic. The table consists of a square glass top resting on an asymmetrical base. This base combines a sleek metal cross frame with cylindrical legs and a striking solid wood block as a contrasting support. The combination of transparent glass, cool metal, and warm wood creates a balanced use of materials typical of modern Dutch Design. The furniture is in good condition, consistent with previous use. The original finishes of the materials have been preserved, contributing to the authentic character of this design. This coffee table fits perfectly into a modern or minimalist interior.
