Product description
This is a classic coffee table, designed by the Danish designer Grete Jalk. The piece is a beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern design, known for its functionality and elegant simplicity. Its elongated silhouette and warm wood tones make it a timeless addition to any interior.
The table is made of teak wood, recognizable by its rich, warm color and clear grain structure. A distinctive detail is the lower slatted shelf, which is not only visually interesting but also provides practical storage space for magazines or books. The legs are slender and tapered, giving the table a light and floating appearance, a typical feature of Scandinavian design from that period.
The overall condition of the table is excellent, with a beautiful patina that reflects the character and age of the furniture piece. The wood has developed a deep, authentic sheen over the years. This coffee table fits perfectly into an interior with a fondness for vintage or Scandinavian design and combines effortlessly with both modern and classic furniture pieces.
