1 coffee maker. 6 coffee cups and 6 shot glasses, produced in the village of Sars Poterie, Nord (France). Circa 1960.
The village of Sars-Poteries (Nord department) owes the second part of its name to the numerous artisan pottery factories dating back to the 18th century. In 1838, there were nine earthenware potteries, eight stoneware potteries and a fossil ash quarry. Only a few small workshops (Maine, Lempereur...) making pots, jugs, vases and other containers remained in the 1970s-1980s.
