This blown-glass cock figurine was designed by Jaroslav Brychta in Czechoslovakia around the 1930s. Brychta was a leading figure of the Železný Brod glass school, known for expressive animal motifs in sculpted glass.
The piece is made of hand-formed glass with well-defined contours and balanced proportions typical of early 20th-century Bohemian glasswork. It remains in undamaged, well-preserved vintage condition.
A collectible example of Brychta’s work, the figurine retains its original character and surface, without restoration.
