A ceramic decanter or bottle depicting a clown donkey, produced by the renowned bourbon distiller Jim Beam in the USA in 1968. This bottle comes from a special "political circus" series.
Indeed, the prize for political humor undoubtedly goes to the Jim Beam decanter collection!
This series, launched in 1956, features two decanters per presidential election year, each representing an animal symbolizing the Democratic Party (the donkey) and the Republican Party (the elephant).
In excellent condition except for the stopper which needs to be reattached to the head.
Several other "donkey" decanter models by Jim Beam can be found in our shop: American football player, Kentucky politician, etc.
