Product description
Decorative Chinese cloisonné ashtray, crafted from brass with inlaid enamel in deep blue tones and floral motifs. It features three cigarette rests and an enameled interior. This type of object was made in the second half of the 20th century for the export market.
The enamel is richly colored and correctly fired. The gilded rim and base show minor wear, consistent with age and use. A characteristic piece of vintage Asian decor, suitable as an ashtray, small bowl, or decorative accent in an eclectic or modern interior.
