About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This striking art plate is a creation by the Dutch artist Clemens Briels, titled 'Tribute to Kandinsky'. The work reflects Briels' characteristic vibrant and expressive style, with a clear nod to the abstract master Wassily Kandinsky.
The plate is crafted from high-quality ceramics by Schoonhoven Keramiek in the Netherlands. It displays a rich palette of colors, including red, blue, yellow, and green, brought together in a dynamic and abstract composition. The reverse states the provenance: Restaurant Kandinsky in the Kurhaus Hotel in Scheveningen, and indicates that it is a limited edition (5/9 The Hague Region).
The object is in excellent condition and shows no visible signs of use. The colors are bright and the glaze is intact, which emphasizes the quality of the ceramics.
This decorative plate is a beautiful addition to a modern or eclectic interior. It can serve as a striking centerpiece on a sideboard or as part of a broader art collection on the wall.
