This side table with black Japanese lacquer tops and chrome legs is a design by Eckart Muthesius for ClassiCon around 1932. The unconventional design and deviation from symmetry is reminiscent of the best designs by Eileen Gray, a contemporary of Muthesius. This table is no longer made new by ClassiCon and is rarely for sale. A great opportunity for lovers of very good design.
The tops are 32 cm square.The paint on the tops has some discolouration and scratches from use but is still in good condition
