This is a decorative rocking horse model from the Dutch brand Authentic Models Holland. The piece, titled "Rocking Horse A.D. 1880", is a nostalgic replica of classic 19th-century children's toys.
The model is handcrafted from solid wood, as stated on the original packaging. The horse is hand-painted in off-white with grey accents and decorative patterns, finished with a red bridle. It is mounted on a dark brown stained wooden rocking base. The dimensions are approximately 22 cm in length and 20 cm in height. This object is made in the Netherlands and comes with its original box.
The model is in good vintage condition and shows character consistent with its age. The original hand-painted finish is preserved, and the structure is completely intact. It is presented in its original, decorative box, which adds to its collectible value.
This charming object is very suitable as a decorative accent on a shelf, in a bookcase, or in a classically themed children's room. It adds a touch of historical elegance and craftsmanship to a traditional or eclectic interior.
