About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Bobbin furniture originated in the late 17th century in the US, UK and the Netherlands. The legs and other details were turned on a lathe to mimic the appearance of a bobbin. This simple, distinctive shape has stood the test of time, crossing the line between the traditional and contemporary.
It is not recommended to sit on the chairs for long periods of time, but oh how beautiful they look! Put them in the hall or bedroom for a quick toss of a garment, or in another cute corner with a picture frame above them.
Although this chair has had quite a life, it is still in top condition! The seat is still perfectly in tact. The wood has minor damage in a few places, giving it a more lived-in look.
*Please note that each Bobbin chair is unique and made to order. The item you receive may vary slightly in size and shape from the one shown in the picture. To ensure you are satisfied with your chair, please contact me before purchasing.
The wood is slightly discolored.
